Looking back on this series I think this may be one of the strongest games I’ve ever played as the US – I just seem really alert and aware, and I wish I always played this well! For this game we’re playing an even-higher-rated opponent at 2069, and this time as mentioned we have the initially more defensively postured US side. We’ll look at opening options when the Soviets take a passive stance in Europe, and talk about the US goals for defcon on turn 1. Meanwhile we’ll defend against an all-out onslaught in Asia and talk about how to compute the odds that an opponent has a particular scoring card on turn 2.
